Exzolt treatments for poultry red mites in poultry is about 99% effective.

The red-mites start dying with in 24 hours of the Exzolt treatment. Only two administrations seven days apart span two chicken-red-mite life cycles. IN Backyard Flock 2 treatments for Red-Mites-Be-Gone or Exzolt are usually all that is needed.

Poultry-Red-mite treatments can be given in the b drinking water or dosed orally. The chicken red mite therapy has a long expiry.

There is NO egg withholding after Exzolt, Zero egg withdrawal period.

The Exzolt has a wide margin of safety for Chickens -but deadly for the hen-red-mites.

Poultry red mites or PRM impacts hen welfare, causing chronic stress. Following treatment with Exzolt for red mites, the drop in mite count was also associated with a significant improvement of stress-induced behaviours.

Treatment in the early spring and late summer is recommended as a minimum to keep PRM under control.
